7 Practical Ways Through Which You Can Earn Massively In Blogging

With the new trend in blogging these days. Almost everybody wants to be a blogger simple because of the information around about how much some bloggers earn here in Nigeria. And with the pressure on people to make extra income, they believe blogging is an option, which truly it is. Only that most of the wanna-be bloggers get it wrong along the way. And so they get discouraged and eventually opt out.

What most bloggers don't realize is that there are diverse ways through which you can make your money in blogging. They tend to follow the conventional style of blogging which is the entertainment niche, which to me , is over saturated and i will not advise any one to go into it, except if you have enough resources to promote your blog.

Blog is a short word for WEB LOG, which is more or less like a WEB JOURNAL OR DIARY, where you can update anything of interest. It doesn't have to be limited to entertainment, gossips and so on. Any body can blog on anything. A doctor can blog on health issues, an engineer can blog on mechanical issues, a lecturer can have his blog where he updates details of his lectures and so on. In fact, i don't advise people to go into the entertainment niche as blogs are all over the web space and everyone blogs about same gists.

As a blogger, i don't even blog on a daily basis. The most important thing is for you to have this blogging knowledge and you are on your path to make real and live cash from these points i will be highlighting below.

1. BLOGGING TRAINING
I make the bulk of my blogging cash through organizing blogging training for people both online and offline. It doesn't have to be a large seminar like that. I sometime make it a one-on-one training and this even makes me charge them more. The most important thing you need to have to do this is your blogging knowledge, your smartphone as you are going to be training them on either whatsapp, bbm, or facebook messenger. The training will be done after you have sent a blogging manual to them.

You simply ask them to read the manual and understand, then later schedule a date to hold the training. Here you will need to convince them how genuine you are, especially those you will be meeting on line. Most online users are sckeptical about parting with thier money online. What i do to convince them is to send them a mini -book on blogging, they will have the basic idea, but will still need to run the training to be fully versed in the blogging training.

I charge trainees N5000 per person, which you can as well charge more, and i must say i have nothing less than 6 people to train weekly.

2. BLOGGING ADMIN
As there are several blogs on the internet this day, it is so surprising to know that most of the bloggers are only seeking for an extra income and so are not always available to update their blogs on a daily basis. Your job here will be to seek them out and offer to assist in updating their blog. And they will jump at the proposal. Here, you can charge a minimum of N6000/blog for a month, and some as much as N10,000 all depending on how bouyant the blog owner is. Those amounts are not bad for a 1hour job and also considering the fact that you will be working with as much as 5- 10. I currently have 5 bloggers am working for and paying me an average of N5000 monthly. That's a whopping N25k and more.

3. CONSULTATION
Another medium through which you can make serious money in blogging is consulting for corporations. You can offer to help them build a responsive blog and they will pay you. I charge N15,000 for a blogspot blog and N30,000 for a wordpress blog. Not that you will be spending this much, but your knowledge is what they are paying for. And for a blogspot blog, you won't even be spending close to N5000 to get it done.

4. ADSENSE
Adsense is another means through which you can make a lot of money through blogging. Though it takes time and professionalism before google approves your adsense, but once you are approved. You begin to make virtual money which can be cashed after reaching a certain qouta.

Adsense really has to do with high traffic on your site. If you are not having much traffic, you might not really make money through adsense as your income will be generated through clicks by your visitors on the adverts google place on your blog. But if you are able to have a high traffic on your blog, then you are good to go with adsense

5. PAID ADVERTS
This another means through which you can make a lot of money on your blog. And with this, you might even not have as much traffic to get adverts. What you do is to just ensure the targets of your advertisers are regularly visiting your blog.

For example if your blog is student targeted, it will be so easy to you to get adverts from boutiques, salons, game shops, phone and gadgets shops and so on. I have this resource that can assist you in getting paid adverts for your blog. Depending on you location, you can charge advertisers a minimum of N5000 per adverts and you can as well charge more. Now multiply this by say 5 different adverts, every month.

6. BLOGGING MANUALS

You can as well decide to write blogging ebooks that you can sell to trainees. Definitely you will need to have blogging manuals as these are what you will be training your prospects with. And i must tell you, I have made a lot of cash on this. Minimum you can charge on ebooks are within the range of N1500.

7. DOMAIN NAME PURCHASE
Yes this is another medium through which you can make enough cash in blogging. What you simply do is assist people purchase their domain names and help them do the redirecting to their blog. You charge them for the domain name and you also charge them for your technical work.

With all these highlighted points, i think am able to convince you on why you should go into blogging. You dont even have to be a pro, just understand the basics of blogging and do more research with time, and i assure you, if you are the type that really has the passion, you can understand blogging perfectly in just a period of a month. You don't even have to be blogging on a daily basis by owing a blog. Just have this blogging knowledge, Although you can have a blog for your outfit where people can get information about your services.

And also, you don't have to wait until you get adsense before you begin to make money in blogging. With all these highlighted points, you don't need to get a new job. You will even begin to create jobs for people.

How To Answer That Pesky “tell Me About Yourself" Question In An Interview

What seems like such a simple question can really make you sweat, especially in an interview. What, exactly, should you share—not just to build rapport, but toshow that you’re the perfect fit for the job?

Fear not, job seekers: There’s a super-simple formula that will help you answer this question with ease. Watch this quick video as our CEO Kathryn Minshew gives a simple tip from our career expert Lily Zhang, then try it out for yourself!

How to Answer “Tell Me About Yourself”

So, the first question you’re probably going to get in an interview is, “Tell me about yourself.” Now, this is not an invitation to recite your entire life story or even to go bullet by bullet through your resume. Instead, it’s probably your first and best chance to pitch the hiring manager on why you’re the right one for the job.

A formula I really like to use is called the Present-Past-Future formula. So, first you start with the present—where you are right now. Then, segue into the past—a little bit about the experiences you’ve had and the skills you gained at the previous position. Finally, finish with the future—why you are really excited for this particular opportunity.

Let me give you an example:

If someone asked, “tell me about yourself,” you could say:

“Well, I’m currently an account executive at Smith, where I handle our top performing client. Before that, I worked at an agency where I was on three different major national healthcare brands. And while I really enjoyed the work that I did, I’d love the chance to dig in much deeper with one specific healthcare company, which is why I’m so excited about this opportunity with Metro Health Center.”

Remember throughout your answer to focus on the experiences and skills that are going to be most relevant for the hiring manager when they’re thinking about this particular position and this company. And ultimately, don’t be afraid to relax a little bit, tell stories and anecdotes—the hiring manager already has your resume, so they also want to know a little more about you.

Security Threat In N-delta Over Non-payment Of Amnesty Allowances

Yenagoa—Ex-militant leaders in the Niger Delta region, yesterday, raised fresh alarm over alleged cases of disenchantment and threats to the existing peace accord by some aggrieved youths over the delay by the Federal Government to pay allowances and tuition fees to beneficiaries of the Amnesty deal within and outside the country.

The concerned ex-militant leaders, led by Pastor Rueben Wilson, said though series of complaints had been sent to President Muhammadu Buhari over the deplorable condition of amnesty beneficiaries in Europe, America and South Africa without response, reports available showed that the delay in payment was throwing up security issues and dangerous disenchantment among the ex-militant youths.

The ex-militant leaders, in a statement in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, said that the alert sent to the President was to draw his attention to the issues in the region and the urgent need to address the issues within the Presidential Amnesty office.

The statement reads: “Worst of their situation is the unpredictability of when their nightmare will end while hunger and deprivation have put them in a very bad state of mind. Your Excellency, you will recall that this programme had within the last few years brought relative stability to our region and by extension, this country.

“This we owe to late President Umaru Yar’Adua, who in his wisdom proclaimed amnesty for ex-agitators and drew a plan of action towards ensuring lasting peace in the region through various training programmes.”

Buhari To Nigerians: Get Ready To Patronise “made In Nigeria” Products

President Muhammadu Buhari has hinted that Nigerians get ready to patronise products made in the country after he pledged that his administration will implement essential reforms to protect Nigerian manufacturers from unfair competition from abroad.

“We will no longer allow our markets to be flooded with things we can produce ourselves. We must believe in our system. Whenever you need my intervention at anytime, please come to me, ” President Buhari told the Permanent Secretary, Abdulkadir Musa and senior officials.

At a meeting with the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, and senior officials of relevant agencies, President Buhari stressed that with its focus on job creation, his government was ready to do whatever it considers necessary to boost domestic manufacturing and industrialisation.

The President said that his administration will fully support the effective implementation of the plan evolved by the Ministry to boost local manufacturing through legal, regulatory and structural reforms, lower interest rates, special intervention funds, protection of local manufacturers and significant improvements in national infrastructure.

“With high interest rates and entrepreneurs needing trillions of Naira to buy machinery, we are virtually back at Ground Zero as far as industrial development is concerned.

“So, we will shun all anti-development policies, and make the climate more suitable for entrepreneurs. We will create the environment for them to thrive. Generating employment was one of our key campaign promises and we will keep that promise.

The Permanent Secretary and his team told the President that the objective of the Ministry’s Industrialisation Plan was to create more jobs, diversify exports and broaden the country’s tax base.

They said that the plan’s critical success factors included dialogue and consultation with industry stakeholders, essential reforms and greater collaboration among relevant agencies.

The Culture Of Wedding Ring And Its Meaning In Nigeria

Wedding ring signifies bond, everlasting love, togetherness till death do you part. It is the gift couple present to each other to bind their vows.

Most couples cherish the instant when they slip a ring on their partner. They look into each other eyes, knowing the fact they will be together from that day on. What most people don’t know is that this has been taking place for years and revolves around the giving of wedding rings. The implication and symbolization behind wedding rings is enormous and as complication as its own love story. I decide to write on this so that couples understand exactly why they exchange wedding rings.

The circle form which means forever, eternity, with no beginning or end, not only to Nigerians, but many other ancient cultures. The hole in the center of the ring also has its own meaning. It wasn’t just considered a space, but rather a gate way or door, leading to things and events both known and unknown. To a give woman a ring signifies never-ending and immortal love.

In Nigeria the culture of exchanging wedding rings was introduced by the missionaries. Our traditional marriages even till today do not recognize the wedding ring as a symbol of forever love. No wonder some religious group especially deeper life bible church etc do not use wedding rings. They use the bible as the gift they exchange with each other instead of a wedding ring. Their reason is based on the fact that the culture of wedding is pagan in nature and is not biblical inclined – According to then God almighty do not recognized it.

HISTORY OF WEDDING RING AND THE MEANING

As we all know the circle has always been significance from ancient culture to the present as a symbol of wholeness and perfection. Its endlessness is the perfect symbol of oneness and unity, no beginning, no end – what more could couple need than the unclouded wish to spend all time together? Some can go as far engraving romantic phrase within their wedding rings.

Early on, the caveman bound himself to his mate with a cord of woven rushes as a symbol that their spirits were one.

Ancient European Northern believed that a lover’s knot was a symbol of love, faith, and friendship. The knot was formed out of the hair of the beloved, woven into a knot that was then worn as a ring.

The roman’s also eventually adopted this tradition but with own twist. Rather than offering a ring to a woman as a symbol of love, they awarded them as a symbol of ownership. Roman men would claim their woman with the giving of a ring. Roman betrothal rings were later made of iron and called “Anulus pronubus’’.

Wedding ring came into use in Christian ceremonies about 870; even then, it was not the simple plain band as we know it today. It usually was highly decorated with engraved doves, lyres, or two linked hands. The church discouraged such ring as 'heathenish' - Believing on other gods. Around the 13th to 16th century, wedding and betrothal rings were considerably simplified, and given a more spiritual look which was very aptly expressed by a Bishop when he dubbed “symbol of the union of hearts.”

The habit of wearing the wedding ring on the fourth finger of the left hand is based upon a Grecian fable that the artery from that finger flows directly to the heart.

The wedding ring was also used as a symbol in Egyptian culture. The wedding band is mentioned in the hieroglyphics on walls of tombs interpreted by archeologists. Egyptian bands are usually heavy metal, encrusted with precious or semi-precious stones. In contrast, the average Roman citizen is reputed to have found “ugly metal bands” to suffice.

IN CONCLUSION there is a saying that says “The more expensive the material, the more love shown to the receiver; the value of the ring also demonstrated the wealth of the giver”.
